As the Founder of A Touch of Essence Wedding & Events, I take great pleasure in creating unforgettable, stress-free events for my clients. I moved from Memphis, TN to attend Middle TN State University 19 years ago. Since then, I have lived in the Nashville area and enjoyed planning events & weddings for my friends, families, and now clients. It is our desire to make every bride's wish come true! Planning is my passion and I would Love to plan an incredible experience for you. We execute unforgettable events. 

Tanora Polk – Wedding/Event Designer

I married my high school sweetheart and followed him to the Nashville area almost 10 years ago!! I have always had an eye for details and having a large family brings that out in me!! I love to create and bring my ideas to life. I experience great joy working with the Touch of Essence Team. It is our desire to make every bride's wish come true! As a designer, I explore the essence of beauty which captures an impressive array of colors, images, and patterns that collectively birth lavish designs; creating artistic environments for your pleasure. Jannette Glover – Wedding/Event Assistant

As the Wedding/Event Assistant for A Touch of Essence, I take great pleasure in assisting A Touch of Essence team in executing unforgettable events for our clients. As a resident of the Memphis area, I am able to assist our clients with events in Memphis and prepare last minute details for my team. It is our desire to make every bride’s wish come true. My passion is to provide quality service and assist in any area, where I am needed.

1 Carat pack​a​ge

o        Wedding Coordinator Only

A Touch of Essence plans, prepares, and executes all aspects of your event. We do 100% off the work; you just tell us what you like and want for your special day. (excludes: Bridal Showers) Unlimited phone calls and emails.

  • • Unlimited phone call/text/emails

    • Monthly meeting leading up to wedding Day (face-to-face or Zoom)

    • One site visit to facility

    • Up to 4 hours day before for Rehearsal/Dinner if needed

    • No time limit on wedding day at the discretion of Wedding Coordinator

    • Coordinator assistant will be available 2 hours prior to start of wedding 

• $2500 flat fee with gratuity charge 

½ Carat package

o        Wedding Coordinator Only

A Touch of Essence assists you with the plans, preparations, and provides full day of services for your event. We come along for the ride and provide you with ideas and advice for your special event. We also make sure all the details are taken care of. (excludes: Bridal Showers) 

• Unlimited phone call/text/emails

• Monthly meeting leading up to wedding Day (face-to-face or Zoom)

• One site visit to facility

• Up to 4 hours day before for Rehearsal/Dinner if needed

• No time limit on wedding day at the discretion of Wedding Coordinator

• Coordinator assistant will be available 2 hours prior to start of wedding 

   o $1500 flat fee with gratuity charge

1/3 Carat Packag​e​

o Wedding Coordinator Only

A Touch of Essence will provide you with Day before and Day of Services for the special event. The customer will plan & prepare the majority of details for the event. A Touch of Essence will step in 3 months prior to event and confirm vendors and details. All major vendors must be secured, contracts signed, and deposits paid. Only one 1-hr pre consultation granted before plan starts. Unlimited phone calls and emails 3 months prior to event.

  • • Unlimited phone call/text/emails 3 months prior to event

    • Monthly meeting leading up to wedding Day (face-to-face or Zoom per coordinator’s preference)

    starting 3 months prior to event

    • One site visit to facility

    • Up to 2 hours day before for Rehearsal if needed

    • No time limit on wedding day at the discretion of Wedding Coordinator

    • Coordinator assistant will be available 2 hours prior to start of wedding

A Touch of Essence will provide you with full Day of Services for the special event. The customer will plan & prepare the majority of details for the event. A Touch of Essence will step in 1 month prior to event and confirm vendors and details. All vendors must be secured, contracts signed, and deposits paid. Only one 1-hr pre consultation granted before plan starts. Unlimited phone calls and emails 1 months prior to event.

  • • Unlimited phone call/text/emails 3 months prior to event

    • 2 meetings leading up to wedding Day (face-to-face or Zoom per coordinator’s preference)

    starting 1 month prior to event

    • One site visit to facility

    • Up to 2 hours day before for Rehearsal, if needed

    • No time limit on wedding day at the discretion of Wedding Coordinator

    • Coordinator assistant will be available 2 hours prior to start of wedding

• $750 flat fee with gratuity charge 

Out-of-city/state transportation fees & lodging are not applied to service charge. Exclusions may apply.
